This wedding at The Edge in Lincolnville Maine was just perfect. The couple, who is from South Carolina, spends a lot of vacations up here in Maine so when they were determining where this festive event would happen they chose Maine! The Edge is a private estate that occasionally can be rented out for events. It looks like it was picked up from California and plopped right here in midcoast Maine. The event space is connected to The Lincolnville Inn which has an infinity pool that looks out towards the ocean. If I had brought my suit, I would have taken a quick dip.
Catie & Jon were not just getting married to each other but were also creating a blended family. It was so sweet to watch their children walk down the aisle as their bridal party and enjoy in that moment together. The ceremony was set in the front yard overlooking the ocean and the tented reception was just up on the lawn a bit. During dinner we were watching porpoises jump in the ocean- it was completely out of movie.
Kristen at Beehive Events did a fantastic job of creating this summer dinner party look for Catie & Jon’s intimate group. Bright summer florals and soft blue linens gave the space a great look. Scroll down to see all the magic of The Edge in Lincolnville Maine!! Cute kiddos, ocean front property, Californian inspired architecture and coastal architecture, sparkler send off…all the fun things!
