Sarah and Chris’s modern Boston wedding at The State Room was exactly what an on-trend, slightly boho, Boston wedding should be- complete with a priest who had the strongest Boston accent. Sarah and Chris started their day out in the middle of the city at Boston Harbor Hotel. Sarah’s room had a balcony that overlooked the harbor and made the perfect spot for some urban bridal party photos.
Their ceremony was held at St. Cecilia church in Boston. It had been a while since I had shot in such a grand church so this was super special to me- there’s something so regal about getting married in a big church. After the ceremony everyone hopped onto the trolley and headed to the park for some bridal party photos. After a while, Sarah, Chris, and I ditched the bridal party and wandered around Boston for some more photos of just the two of them.
Back at The State Room guests were enjoying cocktails and apps and staring at the beautiful set up created by Keri at Always Yours Events. The black tables with pops of tropical fruits, colors, and palm leaves. Such a stunner of an event. During the dancing I fell a little bit more in love with Sarah as she sang every word– with so much fierceness– of Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love. And then the night was made sweeter with a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar.
