Maine Luxury Rehearsal Dinner & Lobster Bake at French’s Point
One thing that I love about wedding weekends is that you, as the bride and groom, get to have so many touch points with your guests. So instead of rushing around for 2 hours at the rehearsal trying to say hi to everyone and have meaningful conversations with them you can chat with people throughout the weekend. A&J’s wedding weekend started off with yoga and tennis in the morning. And once everyone was exercised and sweaty they all met up at the local lobster pound for a quick lunch lobster bake. Lobster, steamers, potato chips, and trays- all with an ocean view. Nothing screams a Maine lunch better.
After this fun lunch together, everyone went back to the venue to get changed and ready for the Maine Luxury Rehearsal Dinner was perfect to be held at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine. Guests were greeted with lite bites and cocktails and the stunning views that French’s Point shares. With the quietness that mid-coast Maine brings plus the ocean view from almost anywhere on the property- everything was elegant and perfect.
The guests and the couple dined at one long farm table that had cafe lights hung above them for that perfect look once the summer sun dipped down. Heidi and her team at She Luxe Weddings & Events created the perfect summer dinner party look and the guests colorful, summer prints just made the event that much more beautiful. This was one of my favorite nights to photograph this past summer. Scroll down to see more!
