There’s something so lovely about a big wedding with all your friends and family but then there is something so so sweet and special about small elopements. And this elopement in Kennebunk Maine was just that. Kate & Jie live on the east coast but Kate spent a lot of time in Maine with her family while she was growing up so they chose Kennbunk Maine for their elopement. They rented a house and got ready with their immediate family all in the house with them. Their ceremony was on the rocks of Gooch’s Beach in Kennebunk Maine. They were surrounded by their parents and siblings and their son. It’s always such a pleasure and honor to be a part of a wedding but it’s even more special when you’re one of ten people at the wedding.
I have been hoarding sea shells ever since we moved back to Maine in September hoping that I would get to use them at some weddings and Kate & Jie’s elopement in Kennebunk was the perfect opportunity. Kate had two dresses, one she wore for the ceremony and the other she switched into for dinner and a couple photos on the beach. Scroll down to see how stunning she was in both!
