As I started picking out the pictures for this wedding blog post I soon realized that I just couldn’t make one blog post for Macie&Greg’s wedding…so part 2 will be coming soon. =)
While Macie was getting ready she was so relaxed, so ready to marry her best friend. She was definitely the ideal bride! While one of her bridesmaids Bethany was doing her hair in her aunts beautiful house, Macie’s other bridesmaids would come in and ask her if she needed anything, made sure everything was packed for her honeymoon, and were just there so she had someone to talk to. It amazed me how genuine her friendship was with all of her bridesmaids. They were all just so close with each other which I just loved.

Macie and I developed a friendship during her wedding planning time so I would often get texts asking me questions about how to decorate something or sending me a picture text showing me her bouquet and stuff. I loved seeing everything but it was such a tease because when these texts first started coming it was months before the wedding. David got so annoyed with me because I would always tell him I just wish it was August and today was Macie’s wedding, I’m just so excited for it. Well, as soon as David and I pulled in to the driveway and saw the beautiful barn with all the decorations up David looked at me and said, Well, you’re gonna have fun. He was so right, it was a photographers dream wedding with all the little details and unique ideas. She’s clearly talented in the decorating spectrum.

She even made port-a-potty’s look cute. Amazing Mace, just amazing.

Macie&Greg decided to have a First Look and see each other before the ceremony which I was so excited about. It was tough being behind the camera and not crying while watching Macie walk up to Greg with tears in her eyes and have him just smile from ear to ear. I seriously started to tear up so bad that my eye’s got all blurry and I couldn’t see anything out of my view finder…so I quickly had to give myself a pep talk and lose all those tears. They’re are just the sweetest couple!

I love the emotion in the picture on the right. They’re so lucky to have each other.

And this picture fully explains their bridal party…stinkin’ fun and hilarious.

Macie&Greg wanted their wedding to be focused around God and I think they accomplished that.

Seriously, could she have chosen prettier bridesmaids?!

Cocktail hour and reception photos to come…
