After moving my family across the country, transferring my business from one state to another, shooting 16 weddings in a row, and Dave starting a new job we had seen each other for about three seconds over the last 6 months. So David surprised me with a trip to Magnolia Market in Waco Texas for their Christmas at the Silos concert with Shane and Shane and Phil Wickham. It was a quick trip away for just the two of us but it was so lovely to leisurely walk around Magnolia Market, shop, drink some coffee, stand in line for 40 minutes for one cupcake from Silos Baking Co, and then sit on the lawn and watch The Polar Express. We made Christmas ornaments together and I managed to make it through the store with only spending a small fortune. And man oh man, what I would give for that greenhouse…a greenhouse has only been on my wish list for 30+ years…a bummer of renting and not owning your house.

No luxurious dinners, no fancy dresses, no big cities, just relaxing and snuggling with my number one while eating popcorn and drinking cider- all in warm weather. Truly a weekend I won’t forget. Marriage is tough but I married one of the best who loves me so well.

Also, I only brought my phone so enjoy some iPhone pictures with iPhone editing. 🙂
