It certainly wasn’t a weekend I want to remember, but by God’s grace it was a weekend that I can still face. On Saturday my heart was breaking for a little baby who lost his young parents in a bus accident.

Then, on Sunday, I found out that my Grampy had passed away. I don’t really want to say too much, but just a couple things about the things I remember about him:

My Grampy-

The one who would buy me and Aly
chewy chocolate chip cookies for our weekend stays at his and Nana’s
house. The one who would chuckle and shake his head as he talked about
his grandchildren. The one who would say “Hi Jaim-may!!” in this
scratchy, energetic voice every time I saw him. The one who had the
scratchiest facial hair.
The one who laid on his bed with his oxygen, new pup, wrinkled hands,
and adorable bald head just a few weeks ago when I got to see him. Now
he’s gone but the memories will last forever. Love ya Grampy, lots and
lots.

I wish I had some more pictures to share, but these are the only ones I could find at the moment.
