I jumped out of the car and ran to give her a big hug. I asked her how their morning was going and chit-chatted a little bit. David then got out of the car and introduced himself to Greg…oh yea…I’ve never actually met these two…maybe I should introduce myself to them!
Macie contacted me this winter and asked me if I could be her’s and Greg’s wedding photographer, we didn’t really know each other, just kind of knew of each other, but soon enough we were talking everyday and we realized that we were pretty much the same person living in two different bodies. So when I saw them for the first time it didn’t really feel like it was the first time…hence why I forgot to introduce myself.

Macie&Greg are just downright good people and they’re so good for each other. I mean could you seriously find a more beautiful, photogenic couple?! David and I are so lucky to have them as friends…even if they are hours and hours away from us. But someday we’ll all be neighbors, borrowing sugar from each other, going antiquing together, sipping lemonade on our big front porches. *Sigh* Oh for the day!

I just love Greg&Macie’s love story. I got to hear bits and pieces from them and also from other people and the common word used was “awesome.” It was “awesome” how God had brought Macie&Greg together, it was “awesome” how they paired so perfectly together, and it was “awesome” how God was going to use them even more in their marriage.

Greg retells their first meeting in his client questionnaire-

I remember the first night we met, we were all going to a meeting together. Before we left the house I remember my mom saying to me, “To bad she has a boyfriends, she’s just your type.” Funny sometimes how much mom’s know. A couple months later we were dating, a year later we got engaged, and now we’re getting married. So, yea, I thought she was hot!

Thanks for that last sentence, Greg. =)

Macie listed a few reasons in the questionnaire of why and how she knew that Greg was the one. My favorite reason was that he brought her back to Christ. I’m sure that will be something that Macie is forever grateful for.

Stay tuned for their beautiful barn wedding pictures coming up soon!
